Major & Method ("we") builds AI content studios for brands. This page explains what we collect when you use majorandmethod.com, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@majorandmethod.com.
What we collect
- When you download the guide: your first name, email address and, if you give it, your company.
- When you book a call or request a booking: your name, email, company, website and anything you tell us.
- When you browse: pages visited, how you arrived and general location (country or city), through cookies you agree to.
Why we use it
- To send what you asked for, such as the guide, and to reply to enquiries and book calls.
- To send occasional ideas and updates by email. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages and campaigns work, so we can improve the site.
We rely on your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, and on our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries. We never sell your information.
Who helps us
Your details are stored with trusted providers who process them on our behalf: HubSpot (our contact and booking system), Netlify (website hosting and forms), Google Workspace (email and calendar) and Google Tag Manager and Analytics (site measurement, only after you agree) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymous heatmaps and session recordings that show us where the site is confusing, with form fields masked). Where data leaves the UK or South Africa, these providers use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working. Everything else waits until you say yes in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time. Until you agree, Google Analytics and Google Ads only receive basic, cookieless signals (such as a page being viewed) that are not linked to you.

How long we keep it
Enquiry and guide details are kept for up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client, when we keep records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and South Africa's POPIA you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email hello@majorandmethod.com and we will respond within a month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or South Africa's Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
